How to Choose a Security Company:

Probably the most important decision you will make is deciding which company to use provide your security.

All alarm companies in California are licensed by the BSIS and division of the consumer affairs.
All alarm qualified company employees must carry an “alarm company employee” card (ACE).
The Qualified manager of an alarm company must carry an ACQ (alarm company qualified manager card).
Qualification for these cards includes a background check by both Department of Justice and FBI records.
Do not let anyone work on a security system in your home or business without checking they have a valid card.
Technically for camera systems only a C7 or 10 contractors license is required by law.
There is no criminal background check to obtain a contractors license and no requirement for a contractor to do a background check on any of hire employees.
